Hope you all had a nice holiday break. I have had a nice autumn and Halloween with having been to King's Dominion after a bagillion years. It was the Halloween horror nights type deal at KD with walking ghouls, haunted houses, and roller coasters running at night - I'd recommend it. I made a lot of Stranger Things fan things throughout October with a Pumpkin Carving Tutorial and a Lookbook/creepy reenactment video that are both up on my YouTube (Channel handle: The Clever Carbuncle). It was neat to see that people actually attempted my Stranger Things pumpkin stencil out there with seeing random photos on Reddit, Instagram, and Twitter.
I made a video about Redbubble and selling my artwork on it for one of my marketing classes, and that video is only posted on my public Facebook page. I don't think I will really post it anywhere else. I was also sick when I recorded it and had been trying to get over this cough I have had since November 3rd - that sucks.
Turkey Day went well as I am still consuming leftovers, which is always nice, not cooking for days. For now, I am just trying to stay away from the peopley places, so I can get rid of this crappy cough while brainstorming more videos and cosplays for when I'm healthy again. I already did all of my Christmas online. I don't like to go out and be amongst the tourons in DC scrambling the shelves for presents and avoiding broken glass and idiots slippin' n' slidin' through the aisles. If I did not purchase anything, I would make World Market a one-stop-shop if I had to get presents or party things on short notice as they carry a lot of cool things.
So, that's all. I have been around on other social media though such as Tumblr and Instagram - you can stalk me on those to see what I've been into. I'm going to go back to my tea and eggnog wafers things now (also purchased from World Market) and get back to reading my Rebels: A well-regulated militia comic book. It's by Brian Wood and is about basic human rights, the War of Independence and freedom to be your own person. I picked it up over the weekend from my local comic shop, it was 25% off, and I hadn't run across a comic book like this before - seems right up my alley of beliefs n' things.
